this border requires you to have a certain amount of stitches in your base row, but if you don’t, I am showing you in the video tutorial how to adjust the pattern
the section between ** is the section that needs to be repeated
the section between ( ) is to be made into the same stitch
Round 1:
Join 3sts before the corner stitch with a sl st, then sc into the same stitch.
Sk 2, (3dc) into the next st (in this case the corner st), ch3, (3dc) around the dc post below, (3dc) into the same stitch where you made the previous 3dc, sk2,
*Sc in next, sk2, (3dc) into the next st, ch3, (3dc) around the dc post below, (3dc) into the same stitch where you made the previous 3dc, sk2*
Repeat from * until you reach the first sc you have made in the round, sl st in that sc, fasten off.
