This cleaner also works for grill grates. Take 1/3 cup baking soda and a cup of warm water.
Mix enough water with the baking soda to make a moist paste. Use the paste with a brush or sponge and start scrubbing.

You’ll need 2 cups of water, 1 tablespoon white vinegar, and baking soda.
Combine the water and vinegar in a large ceramic or heat-proof glass bowl. Microwave until the water has reduced by half. Turn off the microwave but do not open the door for 10 minutes. This gives the steam enough time to penetrate the deposits of crud.
After 10 minutes, wear hot mitts and remove the bowl of water and vinegar.
