7 Awesome Coffee Tips & Hacks

You probably think that making a cup of coffee is one of the most mundane things you can do in the morning. But did you know there are some seriously easy hacks to give your morning coffee a makeover with virtually no effort required? It’s true! Though you responsibly make your coffee at home each day, you likely have no idea that there are a few simple (yet totally game-changing) hacks for a better cup of coffee. Enjoy!

1. Baking Soda.

To prevent cream from curdling in a cup of hot coffee, add a pinch of Baking Soda to the cream and stir well before adding any cream to the coffee.

2. Milk Chocolate Bar.

To give a cup of coffee a soothing chocolate flavor, place a piece of a Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bar in the coffee filter in your coffeemaker before adding the coffee grounds.

3. Make ice cubes out of coffee instead of water.

To make iced coffee without diluting it with the melted water from ordinary ice cubes, brew a pot of coffee, pour the coffee into one or more ice cube trays, and freeze. Store the frozen coffee cubes in a Ziploc Storage Bag in the freezer and use to ice iced coffee.

4. Reduce bitterness with a pinch of salt.

To improve the flavor of coffee, fill the coffee filter with the proper amount of ground coffee, add a pinch of salt to the coffee grounds, and brew as usual. The salt enhances the flavor.

5. Whipped cream.

Instead of serving ordinary cream with coffee, pass around a can of Reddi-wip whipped cream. A dollop of whipped cream floating in a cup of coffee looks elegant and tastes sensational.

6. Honey.

Why limit yourself to using sugar to sweeten coffee or tea? For a more delectable sweetener, substitute with Honey.

7. Rinse your mug with warm water before pouring.

Don't let your cold mug bring your coffee's temperature (and therefore your carefree spirit) way down.
