Chain Stitch – ch

Double crochet / single crochet – dc/sc

Treble / double crochet – tr/dc

Half treble / half double crochet – htr/hdc

Double treble / triple crochet – dtr/trc

Picot of 3dc/sc – picot: make 3ch, 3dc/sc in third ch from hook. Stitch – st

Instructions

Foundation Chain: 5 + 2 chs

Row 1: skip 1ch, * 1dc/sc in next ch, make triangle – [ 6ch, skip 1ch, 1dc/sc in next, 1htr/hdc in next, 1tr/dc in next, 1dtr/trc in each of next 2ch ]. Skip 4 foundation ch; rep from*, make 1dc/sc in last ch, turn.

Row 2: make 3ch, * work 1tr/dc over second dtr/trc of next triangle (see pictures),

make 3ch and 1tr/dc over same dtr/trc, 1picot; rep from*,

work 1tr/dc over second dtr/trc of next triangle, make 3ch and 1tr/dc over same dtr/trc, 1tr/dc in last dc/sc below, turn.

Row 3: make 3ch, * insert hook through dc/sc of next triangle below and space of 3ch, work 1dc/sc.

Make triangle; rep from *, work 1dc/sc into next triangle and space of 3ch, 2ch, 1dc/sc in third ch, turn.

Row 4: make 4ch and 1tr/dc in first dc/sc below, 1picot, * work 1tr/dc + 3ch + 1tr/dc over second dtr/trc of next triangle, 1picot; rep from rep from *, work 1tr/dc + 1ch + 1tr/dc in first ch, turn.

Row 5: make 1ch and 1dc/sc in first tr/dc below, * make triangle, work 1dc/sc into next triangle below and space of 3ch; rep from *, make triangle and 1dc/sc in third ch, turn.

Repeat rows 2 - 5.

Last row (3rd or 5th): make 4ch instead of triangle.
