Note:

To change color: Fasten off, cut yarn, and make slip knot with new color.

Continue with same color: sl st loosely in next ch-space and ch 2 (counting as the first dc on next round.

Do the same for round 2 and 3.

Round 2: *dc 2 in next ch-sp, ch 2, dc 2 in same ch-sp, ch 1*, repeat from *to* 5 times, sl st in 1st dc (=6 groups of (2 dc, 2 ch, 2 dc), with ch 1 between).

Round 3: *dc 7 in next ch-2-sp, ch 1*, repeat from *to* 5 times, sl st in 1st dc (= 6 groups of 7 dc with 1 ch between). Fasten off & cut yarn.

Round 4: *sc 1 around/over ch-sp from round 2 and 3, sc 1 in the next 7 st*, repeat from *to* 5 times, sl st in 1st sc (= 8 sc, 6 times).
