Raised Brick Crochet Stitch Tutorial
The Raised Brick Stitch is a beautifully textured crochet stitch that looks similar to how you stack bricks. Rows of staggered post stitches are used to create this stitch.
I think this would make a cozy blanket especially using a bulky or super bulky weight yarn. I do think that this stitch really stands out when it's worked in a solid color OR large blocks of color.
If you are familiar with the waffle or double waffle stitch, this will feel very similar. After a couple of set-up rows, there is a repeat of 4 rows. The back side of this stitch is smooth, while the front (even rows) hold all the texture.
