6. Chain three.

7. Skip four stitches and make a single crochet in the next stitch.

8. Then repeat. Chain three.

9. Skip four stitches and make three double crochets in the next stitch.

10. Chain three.

11. Skip three stitches and make a single crochet in the next stitch.

12. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row. The row should end with a single crochet.

Row 2

13. Chain three and turn your work around. Chain three counts as a stitch.

14. Make a double crochet in the next chain three space.

15. Chain three.

16. Make a single crochet in the middle double crochet of the previous row.

17. Chain three.

18. Make a double crochet in the next chain three space.

19. Make a double crochet in the single crochet.

20. Make a double crochet in the next chain three space.

21. Chain three.
