Crochet Bow Stitch Tutorial

Row 2: Make 1ch, * 1dc/sc in each of next 8tr/dc below, make 3 parts of bow: [ 6ch, skip 2ch, 1dc/sc in each of next 4ch] – work 2 times, make 21ch, skip 1ch, 1dc/sc in next ch, 1htr/hdc in each of next 2ch, 1tr/dc in each of next 4ch, 1htr/hdc in each of next 2, 1dc/sc in each of next 2ch, 1htr/hdc in each of next 2ch, 1tr/dc in each of next 4ch, 1htr/hdc in each of next 2, 1dc/sc in next ch, slt in first dc/sc.
Continue work the row, skip 2 st and make 1dc/sc in each of next 8tr/dc below; rep from *, work last dc/sc in third ch and turn.
Row 3: Make 1ch, * 1dc/sc in each of next 8dc/sc below, make 2dc/sc in space under bow (see pictures),
1dc/sc in each of next 8tr/dc below; rep from *, turn.
Row 4: Make 3 ch, skip first st, work 1tr/dc in each of next dc/sc below, turn.
Row 5: Make 1ch, 1dc/sc in each of next tr/dc below, 1dc/sc in third ch, turn. Row 6: Make 1ch, 1dc/sc in each of next dc/sc below, turn.
Row 7: Make 3 ch, skip first st, work 1tr/dc in each of next dc/sc below, turn.

Colors and rows:
1 – dark blue; 2 & 3 – light blue; 4, 5, 6 & 7 – dark blue; 8 & 9 – white; 10, 11, 12 & 13 – dark blue; 14 & 15 – light pink; 16, 17, 18 & 19 – dark blue; 20 & 21 – dark pink; 22 - dark blue.
I'm going to try this one. Instead of making a whole solid blanket, I'm going to make 12 inch squares with the bows and do each square in a different color. Then I'll put them all together.
I'll have to start on these so I can go back and forth with the one I'm doing now as to not get bored ☺️
I'm doing that with a different pattern using 3 tones of the same color for each square and each square a different 3 color tones.
