- ch – chain
- dc – double crochet
- sc – single crochet
- sk – skip
- st – stitch(es)
Notes
This pattern is a stitch multiple of 8 stitches. Add 3 for base chain.
TO MAKE A 15 cm x 15 cm / 6 x 6 INCH SQUARE
With the hook & yarn give, I crocheted:
- Ch 27 st, for a total of 26 stitches per row.
- 15 rows.
Instructions
Ch a multiple of 8 + 3 st.
Base row: Sc 1 in 3rd ch from hook, sc 1 in each ch from previous row.
Row 1: Ch 2 (counts as 1 dc), *dc 1 in next st, ch 6, sk 6 st, dc 1 in next st*, repeat from *to* until you have 1 st left, dc 1 in last st, turn.
Row 2: Ch 2 (counts as 1 dc), *dc 1 in the next 2 st, ch 4 st, sk 4 st, dc 1 in the next 2 st*, repeat from *to* until you have 1 st left, dc 1 in last st, turn.
Row 3: Ch 2 (counts as 1 dc), *dc 1 in the next 3 st, ch 2 st, sk 2 st, dc 1 in the next 3 st*, repeat from *to* until you have 1 st left, dc 1 in last st, turn.
Row 4: Repeat row 2.
Repeat row 1-4 until project is desired size.
Optional: Finish with 1 row single crochet.
