Row 2: ch 4 (counts as 1st st + ch 1), sk 2 st, (1 dc, 1 spike st, 1 dc) into next ch 1 sp,
*ch 1, (1 dc, 1 spike st, 1 dc) into next ch 1 sp* repeat between * * to last 3 st, ch 1, sk 2 st, dc in last st. Turn.
Row 3: ch 3, 1 spike st into st directly below, 1 dc in ch 1 sp,
