Puff V Stitch Pattern Instructions
Notes:
- Ch1 at the end of each row does not count as a stitch
- Stitches contained within ** are the repeat section for that row
- When you are instructed to crochet in chains, you are inserting the hook through the middle of the chain, not around it (you crochet in the chain, not in the chain space).
Starting Chain: This pattern requires you to chain multiples of 4+2. My starting chain is 34ch.
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc, *ch1, sk1, sc*, repeat from * until you have 1 ch left, sc in last ch, turn.
Row 2: ch3 (counts as 1dc), (puff, ch1, puff) in next ch1 space, *sk next ch1 space, (puff, ch1, puff) in next ch1 space*, repeat from * until you crocheted in the last ch1 space, sk1, dc in last st, turn.
Row 3: ch3 (counts as 1dc), *(puff, ch1, puff) in next ch1 space between V stitch below*, repeat from * until you crocheted in the last ch1 space, dc in the top ch of ch3 you made on Row 2, turn.
Repeat Row 3 until you have the desired length.
