Granny Spike Crochet Stitch Photo Tutorial

The Granny Spike Stitch is an easy variation of traditional granny stripes. This is one of those crochet stitches that looks complicated but is actually pretty easy.
This crochet stitch has a really elegant texture to it and is one of those stitches that look great in a solid color or stripes. I think it would be a great stitch to use in a lightweight yarn for a baby blanket but would really be suitable for almost any type of project.

Repeat rows 2 and 3 until your block is square. I did 27 rows. Do not turn on last row. Continue to border.
