One-Skein Nesting Bowls Crochet Pattern
What does every household need? An adorable little set of nesting bowls to hold all the things! This chic set of four nesting bowls is a crochet pattern and uses just one skein of cotton yarn.
Materials:
Cotton Yarn (Dishie pictured)
-approx. 190 yards for ALL four baskets or (17, 33, 56, 84) yards
Crochet hook in size E/3.5mm
Gauge: unimportant
Finished Sizes: approx. (2″, 3″ 4″, 5″) in diameter

The chain at the beginning of the round/row does not count as a stitch.
We are using the Uneven Berry stitch for the body of the bowls.
Base:
Round 1: Magic Circle, ch-1, 12dc in circle. Join to top of first st. (12)
Round 2: Ch-2, 2dc in each st around. Join to top of first st. (24)
Size XS jump to body.
Round 3: Ch-2, * dc in next st, 2dc in next st * repeat between * * around. Join to top of first st made. (36)
Size S jump to body.
Round 4: Ch-2, * dc in next 2 sts, 2dc in next st * repeat between * * around. Join to top of first st made. (48)
Size M jump to body.
Round 5: Ch-2, * dc in next 3 sts, 2dc in next st * repeat between * * around. Join to top of first st made. (60)
Size L jump to body.
Body:
Fasten off base using Invisible Join.
With “right side” facing down, insert hook between any two dc stitches and pull up a loop. Slip stitch between each st around. Fasten off using Invisible Join. Weave in all ends.
Attach yarn in any sl st as pictured, with right side facing down.
Round 1: Ch-1, sc in same st, sl st in next st, * sc in next, sl st in next * repeat between * * around. Join to top of first sc with sl st. (24, 36, 48, 60)
Round 2: Turn, sl st in first st, Berry in next sc * sl st in next sl st, Berry in next sc * repeat between * * around. Join to first sl st with sl st. (12, 18, 24, 30 Berries)
Round 3: Turn, * sl st in top of next Berry, sc in next sl st * repeat between * * around, join to first sl st. (24, 36, 48, 60)
Round 4: Ch-1, turn, * Berry in next sc, sl st in next sl st * repeat between * * around. Join to top of first Berry. (12, 18, 24, 30 Berries)
Round 5: Ch-1, turn, * sc in next sl st, sl st in top of Berry * repeat between * * around, join to first sc. (24, 36, 48, 60)
Rounds 6 – (7, 9, 11, 13): repeat previous 4 rows
Round (8, 10, 12, 14): (should be looking at the outside) Ch-1, do not turn, sc in each st around. Fasten off using Invisible Join. Weave in all ends.
