- Soft FRAYA Cotton 8/4 100% Organic cotton 50g – 180 m yarn, colors: eucalyptus and dusty pink
- 2.0 mm hook
Instructions
Row 1
1. Start by chaining a multiple of eight plus five with eucalyptus yarn. You will start working in the second chain from your hook.
2. So, make a single crochet in the second chain from your hook.
3. Make three single crochets in the next three stitches.
4. Make four double crochets in the next four stitches.
5. Make four single crochets in the next four stitches.
6. Then repeat: make four double crochets and then make four single crochets.
7. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row. The row should end with four single crochets.
Row 2
8. At the end of the row chain one and turn your work around. Chain one does not count as a stitch.
9. Make a single crochet in the first stitch.
10. Then make three more single crochets in the next three stitches.
11. Make four double crochets in the next four stitches.
12. Make four single crochets in the next four stitches.
13. Then repeat: make four double crochets and then four single crochets.
14. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row. The row should end with four single crochets.
15. For the next row you will change yarn color to dusty pink. So, chain one with the dusty pink yarn.
16. Then pull the end of the eucalyptus yarn to tighten and secure the dusty pink yarn. Alternatively, you could complete the last stitch of row 2 with the dusty pink yarn.
Row 3
17. Chain three and turn your work around. Chain three counts as a stitch.
18. Make three double crochets starting from the second stitch.
19. Make four single crochets in the next four stitches.
20. Make four double crochets in the next four stitches.
21. Then repeat: make four single crochets and then four double crochets.
22. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row. The row should end with four double crochets.
Row 4
23. Chain three and turn your work around. Chain three counts as a stitch.
24. Make a double crochet in the second stitch.
25. Then make two more double crochets in the next two stitches.
26. Make four single crochets in the next four stitches.
27. Make four double crochets in the next four stitches.
28. Then repeat: make four single crochets and then four double crochets.
29. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row.
30. Then make a double crochet in the turning chain.
31. Change the yarn color to eucalyptus.

32. Chain one and turn your work around. Chain one does not count as a stitch.
33. Make a single crochet in the first stitch.
34. Make three more single crochets in the next three stitches.
35. Make four double crochets in the next four stitches.
36. Make four single crochets in the next four stitches.
37. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row.
38. At the end of the row make the last single crochet in the turning chain. For the rest of the pattern repeat rows 2-5 changing yarn color every two rows.
