How to Crochet the V and Cluster Stitch Photo Tutorial

Slip Stitch clusters make up the beautiful texture in the V and Cluster Stitch crochet pattern.
If you are looking for a stitch pattern with texture and drape, you may just want to try this V and Cluster stitch pattern!
This stitch pattern is an easy two-row repeat. The first row is that of a cluster stitch that is created by working a slip stitch followed by a half double crochet two together, all worked in the same stitch. The result is a stitch that reminds me of a shallow bobble stitch.
The alternating row is a row of double crochet v stitches. These are so simple to work and create a beautiful pattern.

- This stitch is worked in rows in this tutorial and it may be worked in one colour or many. I will be working this pattern in a solid colour.
- To begin, make a slip knot and make a foundation chain. For this stitch, you will need an even number of stitches for your foundation chain. For example, ch 30.
Instructions
Row One: Dc in the 4th ch from your hook, dc in each st across. Ch 1, turn.
Row Two: Hdc2tog over the 1st 2 sts, *sl st in the next st, hdc2tog beginning in the same st as the last sl st; Rpt from * across to the final st and turning ch, end with a sl st in the next st, hdc2tog in the same st as the previous sl st and top of the turning ch. Ch 3 (Counts as a dc), turn.
Row Three: *2 dc in the next sl st, sk the next hdc2tog; Rpt from * across to the final st, dc in the turning ch-sp. Ch 1, turn.
And that’s it!
For the rest of the pattern simply repeat rows two and three for pattern. Fasten off, weave in your ends.
