How to Crochet the Sunflower Stitch Photo Tutorial

I just adore sunflowers! I used to live in Kansas when I was a teenager. The Wild Sunflower is the state flower of Kansas – in fact Kansas is called “The Sunflower State”. They grow wild everywhere and bloom throughout the summer and are at the height of their bloom in late August – September. Driving along the roadways you will find clusters of these beautifully bright flowers waving happily at you along the way!

So, they were the inspiration for this blooming stitch.

Learn how to crochet the Sunflower Stitch with this photo tutorial.
